Windward Software develops and sells business management, inventory control, point of sale and accounting software to over 30 countries.   We help businesses get organized by having everyone use the system for doing their work instead of just having the bookkeeper track the accounting.

And we do this in a very unique way.  When a Lighting Showroom uses our software, for example, they see a system that has been customized for the the lighting industry.   When they sell fixtures, they can specify the room that it should go in, such as the living room or dining room, and include a picture on the invoice so that that customer knows what they have purchased.  This is important in the case where the item will be delivered later such as when the house has been finished and ready to move into.

In each of the different businesses we sell to, we can customize the system to meet their needs and this is where our software stands way out from the competition.

Currently, we have about 45 employees in Penticton.   We also have an office in Cebu in the Philippines allowing us to service our customers from 5 am until midnight Pacific Time.  In July 2011, we will also be adding our own office in Australia, taking over operations there from our current distributor who is retiring.
