Need a hand with your feet?
Transition Massage and Foot Care is a mobility-focussed massage practice emphasizing the importance of posture and gait...which is how you stand and how you walk...and how that translates through your body to affect the wearing of ankles, knees, hips, back and even neck and shoulders. We begin with assessing how past injuries and repetitive strains have led to your current condition and work with you to maintain and improve your health. An hour long foot care session begins with a warm footbath, proceeds with nail and skin care and finishes with foot and leg massage to the knee.
We promote all the benefits of exercise physiology for heart and lung strength and invite you to come to our home-based clinic for your foot and muscle care...or...we will bring to your home all that is needed to treat your feet and legs to pedicure and massage.
We are a quaint and comfortable home-based clinic across from the hospital that offers quality care and attention. Our clinic and reception room are available for those able to climb stairs and we provide delivery of nail and skin care with massage to those who can't or prefer not to.
As a sole proprietor and spa therapist only, we invite you to relearn your responses to life's challenges through "Body Cushion" relaxation Massage. We also offer early-stage Diabetic support and circulation support for the lower extremities due to heart and lung ailments as well as ongoing wellness retention advocacy with sales of baths and creams for between-appointments self care.
We are certified but not registered and as such advocate for prevention as part of your network of health-care professionals that work with you so that you can enjoy the life you live today and better prepare you for a long and healthy life tomorrow.
