The Summerland Community Arts Council supports a public art gallery, a gift gallery of artists' works and hosts events and workshops throughout the year. We also offer studio space for one artist in residence per year, have an active banner program and a vibrant Summer Arts Program for kids in July and August.
We are operated by an active volunteer board and are supported by members of the community who act as gallery sitters, help run events and produce banners.
Our mission statement is to promote and facilitate the awareness and appreciation for the arts in the Summerland area through education, action and advocacy.
