Okanagan Business Professionals Network on Our Okanagan:

Breakfast networking referral marketing groups have proven their worth for growing their member’s businesses in the Central Okanagan. Groups are meeting throughout the week in West Kelowna, Kelowna & Vernon.

Co-organizers Gabriele Banka & Rae Stonehouse are capitalizing on an unfilled need within the Kelowna market for business professionals seeking a breakfast referral networking group i.e. a Tuesday morning meeting, located downtown Kelowna.

On January 13th at 7 am to 8:30 am the Okanagan Business Professionals Network will be holding its inaugural meeting at Molly’s Garden Café & Grill, in the Towne Centre Mall, 17- 565 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna. This is an informational and organizational meeting with the group meeting every Tuesday morning thereafter.

As in other groups, the OBPN will be accepting membership from only one representative per professional field.

Both of the co-organizers have had first-hand experience with other local groups and have built upon what they have found has worked and what hasn’t from those groups. The OBPN can be expected to provide business training workshops & seminars to their fellow members and local business professionals/entrepreneurs. As well, there is an identified need for more, smaller business networking events that OBPN will provide.

A key concept that differentiates itself from other groups is that of our Success Teams. Members, upon joining, will be assigned to one of four Success Teams: Business/Financial, Health & Wellness, Personal Services & Home Services. Professions that have an affinity to each other are grouped together to better help develop and grow each other’s businesses.
