What We Offer

Counselling Services

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. At some points, we can all experience difficult times and need help and support to guide us through. Experiences that have caused pain, anxiety, grief, loss, or shame can become overpowering if left unrecognised.

I believe in each persons ability to grow, and overcome these obstacles in life. This is where Lifeshine Counselling can help. Having the right confidential, caring, non-judgemental person to share your stories with is the first step to breaking the chains that bind - making way for a renewed life of peace, hope and joy.

Facing Addiction as a Family - Intensive Weekend Workshop

Addiction is called a family disease for good reason. By the time most families reach out for help, the disease has progressed to a crisis level. Families often feel traumatized and overwhelmed. There are arguments and confrontations, slamming doors, and sleepless nights.

Addiction affects more than the individual. Our educational and support programs help families learn more about the disease of addiction and how it affects them.

Under the direction of experienced addiction and codependency professionals from AXIS Intervention Services, our family program is a weekend filled with education about addiction, codependency, boundary setting, intimacy, spirituality, communication, self-care, interpersonal relationships, and recovery planning for individuals who have loved ones with substance use disorders. You will also be introduced to counselling and treatment options available for your loved one.

Space is limited. Contact us for registration

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Working in co-operation with EDGEWOOD Treatment Center and AXIS Intervention Services, we are dedicated to providing the best possible treatment program to help make long term, sustainable recovery a reality to those affected by addiction.
